How do I create a group voicemail?

Set up group voicemail in sipgate so teams can receive and manage messages together.

Note: The function Groups is available only to customers on sipgate classic . On sipgate neo it is integrated in a different form.

As an administrator, you have the option to create a answering machine for each of your groups. Calls to the group’s phone number or extension then end up—if desired—on the so-called voicemail of the group. To set up the group voicemail, go to the corresponding group routing. There, set up a forwarding to voicemail, where you specify under which conditions the voicemail should be active.

Once the voicemail is set up, you have the option to upload an individual greeting or record one. Alternatively, you can use sipgate’s standard greetings . All members of the group can use the event list to view transcripts and listen to the recorded messages .
