# How do I automatically reject calls when I am already on a call?

**Important:** Depending on the platform, the function is called differently: On **sipgate classic** you can find it under *Reject calls if busy*, on **sipgate neo** under *Busy on Busy*.

Activate the function **Reject calls if busy**, so that callers hear a busy tone when you are in another call.

On the home page, click **My telephony.** Now go via the left menu bar under **settings** on **User settings**.

Then slide the control **Reject calls if busy** on **yes**.

If **Reject calls if busy is deactivated**, you will hear a call waiting tone during an ongoing call when another call comes in. However, if you are in a channel with call waiting enabled, call waiting is automatically suppressed to avoid disruptions.

If **Reject calls if busy activated**, callers receive a busy signal if you are already on a call - regardless of which of your phone numbers the call comes in on.

**Exception:** If you use the sipgate app 2.x to make calls, it works **Reject calls if busy** not. In this case, a separate app extension is used for outgoing calls, which is not captured by monitoring. The user remains reachable, and calls are delivered to VoIP phones and other end devices.
