# How do I automatically reject calls when I am already on the phone?

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** Depending on the platform, the feature has different names: On **sipgate classic** you can find it under *Reject calls if busy*, on **sipgate neo** under *Busy on Busy*.
{% endhint %}

Enable the feature **Reject calls if busy**, so that callers hear a busy tone when you are in another call.

On the home page, click **My telephony.** Now go to **settings** on **user settings**.

Then move the slider **Reject calls if busy** on **yes**.

If **Reject calls if busy is disabled**, you will hear a call waiting tone during an active call when another call comes in. However, if you are in a channel with call queuing enabled, call waiting is automatically suppressed to avoid disruptions.

If **Reject calls if busy is enabled**, callers will receive a busy signal if you are already on a call — regardless of which of your phone numbers the call comes in on.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Exception:** If you use the sipgate App 2.x to make calls, **Reject calls if busy** does not work. In this case, a separate app extension for outgoing calls is used, which is not captured by monitoring. The user remains reachable, and calls are delivered to VoIP phones and other endpoints.
{% endhint %}
