How do I set up a VoIP additional line?

Set up a VoIP additional line in sipgate - phones without user assignment for reception or conference rooms.

You have the option of setting up phones without assigning them to a specific user. You can then assign the phones to specific locations, for example. Please note that the VoIP add-on line does not have an event list has one. Each VoIP add-on line costs €4.95 per month.

Here's how:

In the account management, go to the tile VoIP add-on lines. Then click the button: + Add VoIP add-on line.

Enter any name for the line and click Add device.

Now click on the new line with the mouse and go to SIP account data. Here you will find the access data that you can enter into an existing VoIP phone.

If this newly created endpoint should be reachable inbound under a phone number, click under Routing to Add phone number. You have now successfully created a VoIP line.

Use as an analog fax or video phone

You want to use your add-on line as a analog fax or video phone use it? Then please proceed as follows:

Click on settings. Move the slider for the menu item Use as an analog fax device or video phone to yes.
