# How do I set up the function keys on the Yealink phone?

Most Yealink phones allow the function keys to be assigned with sipgate functions.

For the initial setup of the function keys, please press the key on the Yealink **Menu** to have your current IP address of the respective device displayed (e.g. 192.168.0.10)

Open your computer's web browser and enter the displayed IP address in the address bar.

To log in to the configuration interface, use the password you chose. If you have not yet changed the password, both "username" and "password" are **admin.**

#### Initiate transfer

Enter under **Functions ➔ General information ➔ Send Tran DTMF** the value **\*3** and save the settings. Make sure that “**Replace Tran DTMF**” must be set to “**enabled**”. In addition, you can activate the option “**Send pound key**” to initiate the transfer directly after entering the destination number.

Afterwards, it should be possible for you to initiate a transfer again using the device's own transfer key followed by extension/dial number and the # key.

An overview of the available keyboard shortcuts can be found in this [article](https://help.sipgate.de/hc/de/articles/4402762521489-Was-sind-die-Tastenk%C3%BCrzel-DTMF-bei-sipgate).
