How do I upload custom hold music?

Upload your own hold music in sipgate and use it as music on hold for calls.

You have the option to customize the default hold music that is played while a call is on hold. This feature makes it possible for callers to recognize that their call is being kept on hold, for example during a transfer.

As an admin, go to account management and select the menu item Phone system ➔ Customization from the left-hand menu.

Under Put call on hold click the gear icon next to hold music.

At this point, you can upload your own audio file in *.mp3 format (up to 10 MB).
