# How do I upload the custom hold music when putting a call on hold?

You have the option to customize the default hold music that is played while a call is on hold. This feature makes it possible for callers to recognize that their call is being kept on hold, for example during a transfer.

As an admin, go to account management and select the menu item Phone system ➔ Customization from the left-hand menu.

Under **Put call on hold** click the gear icon next to **hold music**.

At this point, you can upload your own audio file in \*.mp3 format (up to 10 MB).
