# How can I set the phone to inactive (DND)?

Do Not Disturb (DND) in sipgate: temporarily disable phones so you do not receive any calls.

You have the option to turn your phones on or off, e.g. to not receive calls for a certain period of time. Your phone will then not ring until you turn it back on. As soon as you set the phone to **Inactive** set it, this phone will no longer be reachable for callers.

## **And this is how it works:**

Click on **My telephony** and then in the left navigation menu to **Telephony**. Now you can click on the desired **Phone** in the middle column of the routing. A window opens. Now you have the option to set the slider at **DND** (Do Not Disturb) to **Active** or **Inactive** set.

**Important:** When you set a phone to DND, your forwarding settings apply in the event **Busy***.*
