# How can I set the phone to inactive (DND)?

You have the option of switching your phones on or off in order, for example, not to receive any calls for a certain period of time. Your phone will then not ring until you switch it back on. As soon as you set the phone to **Inactive** the phone is no longer reachable for callers.

## **Here’s how it works:**

Click on **My Telephony** and then in the left navigation menu to **Telephony**. Now you can click on the desired **Phone** in the middle column of the routing. A window will open. You now have the option to move the slider for **DND** (Do Not Disturb) to **Active** or **Inactive** set.

**Important:** If you set a phone to DND, your forwarding settings apply in the event **Busy***.*
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
Tip: Some phones have their own DND function, which is integrated directly into the device. In this case, there may be deviations in forwarding behavior.
{% endhint %}
