How do I set up my eSIM/SIM card when changing devices?

Transfer the eSIM or SIM card to the new smartphone when changing devices – here’s how.

Would you like to create a new eSIM profile or switch your eSIM/SIM? We’ll explain how to do it.

To set up your eSIM profile on a new device, you must under Telephony select the card with your current device. Then click under Connection to the device on the gear icon.

At this point, you have the option to create the eSIM profile for your new device and delete your old profile.

This procedure is possible for the following connection changes:

SIM card ➔ eSIM

SIM card ➔ SIM card

eSIM ➔ eSIM

eSIM ➔ SIM card

If you have carried out these steps, your new device should be displayed with your eSIM.
