# How does the eSIM profile get onto my device?

To create an eSIM profile on your device, you must under **Calling ➔ Voicemail and devices** select the corresponding card for the device and click the gear next to **Connection to the device** click.

At this point, follow the further instructions on the interface. By scanning the individual QR code, you can use sipgate on a smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch within a few seconds. To do this, the respective mobile device must be connected to the internet, either via Wi-Fi or via cellular network through another SIM card.

The following settings must be made on your mobile device. They will also be explained again in detail during the process.
