Which keyboard shortcuts can I use in the sipgate app?

All keyboard shortcuts and hotkeys for the sipgate app at a glance – make calls and navigate faster. Including custom shortcuts.

In this article you will find the most important shortcuts for the sipgate app. You can now also customize most keyboard shortcuts yourself and assign your own key combination.

Set custom keyboard shortcuts

You can adapt most shortcuts to your habits. Some shortcuts are fixed and cannot be changed – you can see which ones in the tables below in the column Customizable.

1. Open the settings.

2. Go to the section Shortcuts.

3. Click the shortcut you want to change.

4. Press the desired key combination.

Note: When you change a shortcut, the corresponding default shortcut is shown as a suggestion. This means you can return to the original assignment at any time.

Conflicts with other programs: Some key combinations are already used by other programs or by the operating system. In this case, choose a different combination. Examples of possible conflicts:

• MS Teams uses Ctrl+Shift+A to accept calls

• Edge uses Ctrl+Shift+D to save all tabs

Note: The single keys A and D only work within the app. To do so, activate the settings the toggle Control calls with a single key.

The shortcuts for accepting and declining outside the app are only available in the desktop version. To do this, activate the toggle Control calls outside the app.
