# Which keyboard shortcuts can I use in the sipgate app?
All keyboard shortcuts and hotkeys for the sipgate app at a glance – call and navigate faster. Including custom shortcuts.
In this article you'll find the most important shortcuts for the sipgate app. You can now also customize most keyboard shortcuts yourself and assign them to your own key combination.
## Set your own shortcuts
You can customize most shortcuts to fit your habits. Some shortcuts are fixed and cannot be changed - which ones they are, you can see in the tables further down in the column **Customizable**.
1. Open the **settings**.
2. Go to the section **Shortcuts**.
3. Click the keyboard shortcut you want to change.
4. Press the desired key combination.

**Note:**\
When changing a shortcut, the respective default shortcut is shown to you as a suggestion. This lets you return to the original assignment at any time.

**Conflicts with other programs:** Some key combinations are already used by other programs or by the operating system. In that case, choose a different combination. Examples of possible conflicts:
* MS Teams uses **Ctrl+Shift+A** to accept calls
* Edge uses **Ctrl+Shift+D** to save all tabs

The single keys **A** and **D** only work within the app. To do this, activate in the **settings** the toggle **Control calls with a single key**.
The shortcuts for accepting and declining outside the app are only available in the desktop version. To do this, activate the toggle **Control calls outside the app**.
