# SNOM phone responds very slowly after auto-provisioning

When Snom phones have been autoprovisioned and contact synchronization is additionally enabled, it can happen that the phone partially does not respond or responds with a very long delay to commands. This is usually related to too large a number of contacts that are synchronized regularly.

In that case, the **intervals** should be increased, during which the contacts resynchronize:

Log in to the Snom web interface ➔ Identity ➔ Functions ➔ Phone Download Interval

Here you can set the intervals for synchronization, up to a maximum of 1209600 seconds (= 14 days).

Important: If you enter 0 as the interval, the phone will only sync when restarted and otherwise not.

Alternatively, synchronization can also be set to a **specific time** be set. In the following example, synchronization takes place every day at 11:00 p.m.:
