SNOM phone responds very slowly after auto-provisioning

Solution for slow Snom phones after auto-provisioning – adjust synchronization intervals or set fixed times.

If Snom phones have been autoprovisioned and contact synchronization is also enabled, it can happen that the phone does not react at all or only reacts with a significant delay to commands. This is usually due to too large a number of contacts that are synchronized regularly.

In that case, the intervals in which the contacts resynchronize should be increased:

Log in to the Snom web interface ➔ Identity ➔ Functions ➔ Phone Download Interval

Here you can set the intervals for a synchronization, with a maximum of 1209600 seconds (= 14 days).

Important: If you enter 0 as the interval, the phone will only sync on restart and otherwise not at all.

Alternatively, synchronization can also be set to a specific time of day. In the following example, synchronization takes place every day at 23:00:
