SolarWinds Service Desk integration

How to connect SolarWinds Service Desk with the sipgate App for contact synchronization and telephony.

SolarWinds Service Desk is a cloud-based, AI-powered IT service management (ITSM) platform designed to maximize productivity and accelerate problem solving with lightning-fast value creation.

With sipgate, you can make calls directly from SolarWinds Service Desk and use your contacts in the sipgate app. This way, you can always see which contact is calling and don’t have to switch between different tools. sipgate is your phone system with the telephony app for desktop and mobile.

Integration of SolarWinds Service Desk in the sipgate app:

Select integration

Click the gear icon on the left in the sipgate app and select the item Integrations from. Under the item Integrations look for the entry SolarWinds Service Desk and click the button Connect with SolarWinds Service Desk.

Enter API data

Enter the required API key and API URL here.

Confirm connection

You have now successfully connected SolarWinds Service Desk and the sipgate app.

Note: Depending on the number of contacts to be integrated, it may take a few minutes before they are displayed completely.

Find or create the API key in your SolarWinds Service Desk account:

Log in to your SolarWinds Service Desk account and open the "Setup" item (gear icon) in the menu bar on the left. Now select "Users" under "User & Groups" and click your user there.

In the new window, you will find the "Actions" dropdown menu on the right. Please open it and select "Generate JSON Web Token".

You will then see the newly created web token. You can now copy, delete, or regenerate it.
