Lexoffice integration

This is how you connect the accounting software Lexoffice with the sipgate app for contact synchronization and telephony.

Lexoffice is suitable for companies of all industries, sizes and legal forms. The core of Lexoffice is intelligent document management. The more documents a company processes, the greater the time savings. With sipgate you call directly in Lexoffice and use your contacts in the sipgate app. This way you always see who is calling and don't have to switch between different tools. sipgate is your phone system with the telephony app for desktop and mobile.

Integrating Lexoffice into the sipgate app:

Select integration

In the sipgate app, click the gear icon on the left and select the "Integrations" item.

Under "Integrations", find the "Lexoffice" entry and click the "Connect with Lexoffice" button.

Enter API key

Enter the required API key here.

Confirm connection

You have now successfully connected Lexoffice and the sipgate app.

Note: Depending on the number of contacts to be integrated, it may take a few minutes until they are displayed in full.

Find or create an API key in your Lexoffice account:

One API key can be created per user. The key will be shown to you once in the next step. Public API is only available starting with XL plan available.

How can Click2Dial be performed with phone numbers in the sipgate app?

• Open the customer manager in Lexoffice, select a contact, and click the contact's phone number.

• A prompt appears in the web browser asking whether the phone number should be opened via an application.

• If the sipgate app is already your preferred application, simply click Open sipgate app. This will open the sipgate app and dial the number.

• If you do not want to confirm the selection every time, you can enable the option in Google Chrome Always allow links of this type to be opened in the associated app to activate it. This will open the sipgate app immediately when you click a phone number.

• On Windows, if another app is suggested instead of the sipgate app, go to Windows ➔ Default apps ➔ Choose defaults by link type and set Tel: sipgate app as the default.

• On a Mac device, go to FaceTime ➔ Settings ➔ General ➔ Default for calls and set the sipgate app as the default.
