# Intercom integration

Intercom develops a range of messaging-first products for businesses to accelerate growth across the entire customer lifecycle.

With sipgate, you can make calls directly from Intercom and use your contacts in the sipgate app. This way, you can always see which contact is currently calling and do not have to switch between different tools. sipgate is your phone system with the telephony app for desktop and mobile.

**Integration of Intercom in the sipgate app:**

**Select integration**

In the sipgate app, click the gear icon on the left and select the item "Integrations".

Under the "Integrations" section, search for the "Intercom" entry and click the "Connect with Intercom" button.

**Agree to exchange**

Now agree to the exchange between the apps.

**Confirm connection**

This means you have successfully connected Intercom and the sipgate app.
