Google Contacts integration

This is how you synchronize your Google Contacts with the sipgate app for caller identification and contact management.

Manage, control, and merge contacts. Synchronize your Google contacts with the sipgate app. In the sipgate app, you can use your Google contacts directly. This way, you can always see who is calling and don’t have to switch between different tools. sipgate is your phone system with the telephony app for desktop and mobile.

Integration of Google in the sipgate app:

Select integration

In the sipgate app, click the gear icon on the left and select the "Integrations" item.

Under the "Integrations" section, look for the "Google" entry and click the "Connect with Google" button.

Sign in to Google

Sign in to your Google instance.

Agree to exchange

Agree to the exchange between the apps.

Confirm connection

You have now successfully connected Google and the sipgate app.

Note: Depending on the number of contacts to be integrated, it may take a few minutes until they are displayed in full.

Can contact/profile pictures be loaded?

Yes, if a contact has a contact picture, the contact picture will be loaded. For Google users from the same company, only the profile picture is loaded, not the contact picture.
