Google Contacts integration

How to sync your Google Contacts with the sipgate App for caller identification and contact management.

Manage, monitor, and merge contacts. Synchronize your Google contacts with the sipgate app. In the sipgate app, you can use your Google contacts directly. This way, you can always see who is calling and do not have to switch between different tools. sipgate is your phone system with the telephony app for desktop and mobile.

Google integration in the sipgate app:

Select integration

In the sipgate app, click the gear icon on the left and select the item "Integrations".

Under the "Integrations" section, look for the "Google" entry and click the "Connect with Google" button.

Sign in to Google

Sign in to your Google instance.

Agree to exchange

Agree to the exchange between the apps.

Confirm connection

This means you have successfully connected Google and the sipgate app.

Note: Depending on the number of contacts to be integrated, it may take a few minutes before they are displayed completely.

Can contact/profile pictures be loaded?

Yes, as long as a contact has a contact picture assigned, the contact picture will be loaded. For Google users from the same company, only the profile picture, not the contact picture, will be loaded.
