How to connect the ITSM system Freshservice with the sipgate App for automatic contact synchronization and telephony.
Freshservice is rightly regarded as an entry-level-friendly IT service management system. The business application is an ITIL-compliant solution that lets you get started immediately with ticket creation as well as incident, problem, or change management. It includes useful features such as asset management and a service catalog with rules that can be automated.
With sipgate, you can make calls directly in Freshservice and use your contacts in the sipgate app. This way, you always see who is calling and don’t have to switch between different tools. sipgate is your phone system with the telephony app for desktop and mobile.
Connect sipgate and Freshservice and benefit from automatic contact synchronization. All changes or new contacts that you add in the sipgate app during or after the call are automatically saved in Freshservice. Integration of Freshservice in the sipgate app:
Select integration
In the sipgate app, click the gear icon on the left and select the item "Integrations".
Under the “Integrations” section, search for the “Freshservice” entry and click the “Connect with Freshservice” button. 
Enter API data
Enter the required API key and API URL here.

Confirm connection
You have now successfully connected Freshservice and the sipgate app.
Note: Depending on the number of contacts to be integrated, it may take a few minutes before they are displayed completely.
Find the API key in your Freshservice account:
Open Settings
Log in to your Freshservice account, click the user icon in the top right, and select “Settings.”

Copy API key
In the menu, click on “API Settings” and confirm the captcha.

Here you will now find your API key.

Important: The API key is only available starting with the paid PRO version of Freshservice.
