# Is it possible to set up CTI with TAPI for Mac and Linux for sipgate?

For Mac OS and Linux there is **no TAPI interface**. Therefore, the manufacturer of your software must find another way to integrate telephony into its product. Please contact the manufacturer of your software and ask them to take a look at [sipgate.io](https://www.sipgate.io/de/) ([www.sipgate.io/de](http://www.sipgate.io/de) ). With the help of this interface, it is possible for every software manufacturer to integrate sipgate telephony into their own software easily and quickly.

Alternatively, with sipgate.io you can integrate all of sipgate’s functions, such as Click2Dial, SMS sending, and even real-time display of caller data, into your own software products. Current integrations include help desk, CRM, and industry-specific applications. Some examples can be found [on our website](https://www.sipgate.de/funktionen).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.sipgate.de/cloud-telefonanlage/en/connections-and-integrations/cti/ist-es-moeglich-cti-mit-tapi-fuer-mac-und-linux-fuer-sipgate-einzurichten.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
