German local and mobile numbers
As an admin, you can in the account under the navigation item Phone numbers via the button Book select local and mobile numbers.

If you have set up multiple locations, when booking local numbers you can select the desired location and thus the desired area code.

After you number of phone numbers have selected, you will be shown the available phone numbers that you can then book.

To receive and use German phone numbers, you need at least one location in Germany, which you must verify. International numbers can be booked without verification.
International numbers
With international numbers, you enable customers to make a local call from abroad.
Select country: Select the desired country and the appropriate area code range.
Check verification documents: Upload the required proof of address (varies depending on the country).
Enter company details: Enter your details in the selected country .
Select or create location: Select an existing or new location in the destination country.
Use phone number: After successful verification, the number appears in the account and can be integrated into the Routing .
Note
In many countries, a valid address is sufficient as proof.
Phone numbers are usually available after just a few minutes , with additional documents after approval.
In addition, the following applies:
You cannot book international numbers in blocks.
A maximum of four simultaneous incoming calls is possible.
International numbers cannot be used for incoming fax, SMS, and data communication.
If an international number is set as the caller ID, calls or faxes to special numbers such as 0800 are sometimes not possible.
International numbers cannot be listed in public telephone directories.
You cannot port international numbers.
For legal reasons, we cannot guarantee that an international number will be transmitted when calling a country outside Europe. Within the European Economic Area (EEA), it depends on the called party's telephone company whether your number is transmitted. In individual cases, this may mean that your German number is displayed instead of the international number.
Further information on the current legal situation can be found in Telecommunications Act as well as in the Directive 44/2022 of the Federal Network Agency on the Telecommunications Act.
